Weight Loss and Paleo

Weight Loss and Paleo

I believe that weight loss and paleo go hand in hand.  There’s no one size fits all approach with paleo, so here I offer some tips on how to get started on the path that’s right for YOU.

First off, take into account your dedication, your time and your schedule; then you will see which paleo diet options are best for you and your weight loss. If you choose the low-carb “version,” you’ll drop even more weight, yet it’s not as easy for some. Those food cravings may be a bit to go through if you have been on sugar, corn sweeteners, fructose, alcohol or a large amount of carbs. It’s well worth the effort to make the transition (with your doctor if you feel that’s best, of course) and go for the goal of having that toned body and the energy and stamina you rightly deserve and can achieve through this diet.

You can research online and read about the thousands of people that have transformed their lives and body through the paleo diet and lifestyle. I know of many men and women with goals to drop the excess weight, and as they applied the diet and changed their lifestyle, they actually changed their initial goals they had in mind when starting. Some enjoyed more muscle than they ever thought they would, some became competitive swimmers, avid athletes, or opened their own CrossFit center, and many have changed jobs. You name it—I’ve seen and heard everything. Paleo is a life-changing opportunity for anyone to benefit from.

The key point about weight loss and paleo is that you need to DO it. Be realistic in your goals for the body you have and have fun with the whole process. Paleo is really very easy and fun. You need to get your sleep, schedule, food and exercise truly in or you are cutting yourself short of reaping the many benefits.

I love to hear successes of each person’s body transforming. Share your success with me!
