Meatballs are one of those foods that really remind me of childhood. Spaghetti and meatballs are definitely one of those “comfort foods”. Ingredients
- 1 lb. grass-fed ground beef
- ½ tablespoon garlic salt
- ¼ white onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 zucchini
- 1 jar of tomato/pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 350F.
- In a bowl combine ground beef, garlic salt, onion, salt and pepper. Mix and combine well with hands.
- Make into small golf ball sized rounds.
- Place in a medium sized glass dish in the center of your oven.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
- Using a vegetable spiralizer, take your zucchini and create noodles.
- Pour entire contents of tomato sauce into a pan on medium heat.
- Once the sauce starts to heat up, add your meatballs to the sauce and adjust heat to low. Cover with lid for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and keep lid on until it is plated.
- Place noodles in a separate pan with oil, salt and pepper. Sauté until noodles are cooked.
- Serve the noodles on plates with sauce and meatballs on top and dig in!
