Paleo Sour Cream, Dairy-Free Cashew

Who says you can’t enjoy paleo Mexican food? Well I’m here to tell you, you certainly can! Here is some yummy paleo, dairy-free sour cream made from cashews. Enjoy this versatile sauce on top of paleo tacos or any favorite Mexican dish!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cashews, soaked for at least 4 hours
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or more to taste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/2 cup filtered water

Instructions

  1. Drain water from the cashews.
  2. In a high-powered blender, blend all ingredients until smooth.
  3. You can add additional salt or honey to your personal taste.
  4. Enjoy!
