Paleo chimichurri

Paleo Cilantro Chimichurri

Description

This is one of those simple yet rewarding recipes which I learned along the way, which I can alter, add to and serve with a variety of dishes such as beef, chicken, veggies, you name it!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 bunch cilantro
  • 3/4 bunch flat leaf parsley
  • 11 basil leaves
  • 1/4 medium red onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Chop your cilantro, parsley, basil and garlic into pieces.
  2. Place all ingredients into your mixer.
  3. Blend until pretty well blended but not at all puréed.
  4. I leave mine with substance, and texture.
  5. Place in a beautiful bowl to serve with any protein or vegetable dish.
  6. Enjoy!
