Paleo Butterscotch Sauce

Paleo Butterscotch Sauce

Nowadays, in many countries, some people prefer lucuma-flavored ice cream over chocolate or vanilla! It’s a perfect low-glycemic sweetener in this delicious Paleo Butterscotch Sauce.  Enjoy this over a variety of paleo ice creams such as my coffee or vanilla versions. Trust me, your blood sugar will thank you.

Lucuma powder is one of the many amazing secret foods I have learned about on the paleo gluten free diet. It’s astounding how many natural, nutritious foods are available to us if we just look around (by the way, if you’ve discovered some on your own, please share them with me on my Contact page!). Anyway, the lucuma fruit was considered by the ancient Peruvians as a symbol of fertility and creation and actually used to be known as “the Gold of the Incas.”

If you like butterscotch, then do check out my Paleo Butterscotch Ice Cream. To die for!
