CHECK OUT THE INFOGRAPHIC BELOW! For others, it’s part of a specific health care schedule they follow. Combine the above with a healthy paleo diet, and you’re definitely heading in the right direction. I certainly enjoy my vegetables no matter how I can get them into me, and I am not a heavy protein eater as many believe paleo “has to be”. Please remember that paleo is only a base, a template, and juicing very much can fit into anyone’s life and diet preference.
No matter your reason for why you choose to juice or blend, there are some methods that work better than others. And there are more items than just fruits and vegetables that you can juice. Any number of ingredients can round out the nutritional value of your juiced or blended drink: almond butter, for example, or cacao or nut milks. Another bonus: by adding more non-fruit and non-vegetable ingredients you may decrease your juice or blended drink expense, too.
There are pros and cons to both juicing and blending. And not every fruit or vegetable juices or blends the same. Some, such as beets, may be better juiced than blended. In addition, the specific nutritional makeup of various fruits and vegetables may not work well due to such things as starch or carb content. Either way, your hormones and diet will reflect how you feel and juicing may very well help! You can study up on certain fruits, vegetables, and other add-ins for your needs and well-being.
Luckily, there are some good recipes and quick tips that can help make juicing or blending easier and better for you.
