Paleo Hemp Seed Basil Pesto

Paleo Hemp Seed Basil Pesto

I love pesto but really like to change my ingredients around. Heck why not! So, one fine Saturday I headed down to a local raw restaurant, Sun Power Café and jumped in on a really fun and informative class. I learned this paleo hemp seed basil pesto recipe and will share it below. It is EASY! Some of my favorite recipes are easy, fast and delicious. This recipe is all three.

You can really do so much with pesto: add to your stuffing in any hen, add to hot spiralized zucchini “noodles”, dip with your favorite paleo gluten free crackers or even with my Spicy Raw Kale Chips. You name it. Pesto makes anything taste delicious.

The fats in this recipe are incredible and will make your skin shine and your body thrive and can even help balance your hormones. One of the ingredients, hemp seeds, is also one of the plant kingdom’s best sources of easily digestible, high-quality protein. Protein helps build and repair tissue and build lean muscle mass. Unlike soy, hemp does not contain enzyme inhibitors and phytates as I discuss on my FAQ page, so the nutrients in hemp can be easily absorbed by the body.

Eat clean today, move that body, get good vitamins and you will have a terrific day. Enjoy!
