Healthy Hearty Steak Marinade

Healthy Hearty Steak Marinade

I like to make and create easy and quick recipes. This new Healthy Hearty Steak Marinade is savory with a touch of sassy, a hint of spicy, and has warm peppery undertones that really bring out the “OMG” in a good protein dish, like this delicious grass-fed beef. I think you will really like it!

I like to make grain free and paleo food gifts so keep in mind you can make this and share with family and friends as a gift in sweet bottles or wide-open jars. At the very least make plenty so you can store it. It will last several weeks sealed tight.

I used no sugars which is becoming more and more common as an ingredient in rubs, marinades and sauces. They just add unnecessary carbs and really are not needed. I used a unique low-calorie sweetener called Allulose. I got it from Lang Chocolates, Key stone Pantry. You can check them out below. I have been playing around with this ingredient in main dishes, baked goods and now this marinade.

Description

I used no sugars which is becoming more and more common as an ingredient in rubs, marinades and sauces. They just add unnecessary carbs and really are not needed. I used a unique low-calorie sweetener called Allulose.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Tbsp fresh cracked black and red peppercorns
  • 4 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 4 Tbsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp crushed coriander seeds (not ground)
  • 2 Tbsp Allulose- I used Keystone Pantry
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp onion powder
  • 4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 8 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl.
  2. Stir well to combine well.
  3. Store unused rub in an airtight glass container for several weeks.

Notes

Pierce your meat with a fork.
Rub on both sides of meat or use as desired.
I marinated mine overnight and always like to do this.
